Edward “EJ” Achtner, Digital Banking Executive for Bank of America – Strategy, Platforms, Innovation, and Partnerships, has joined the Bank Innovation 2017 speaker faculty.

Achtner leads Bank of America’s Digital Banking Practice, responsible for the development and deployment of digital solutions for the Charlotte, N.C.-based bank. Achtner also manages the bank’s platforms and partnerships to help deploy digital solutions across its customer base.

The bank reported 21.6 million mobile active users for the fourth quarter of 2016.

Prior to his present role, Achtner was Bank of America’s regional executive for consumer banking in Northern California, where he was responsible for revenue, client experience, risk management and integrated digital strategy. He has been part of the bank since 2002.

Achtner will join a panel on mobile banking and the Internet of Things at 1:30 PM PST on March 7 in San Jose, Calif.

Achtner is just the latest top industry executive to sign on for Bank Innovation 2017, where the best conversations in fintech take place.
