The London-based platform automates the manual ordering and fulfillment process to allow businesses including Amazon and Apple to offer rewards with access via APIs to more than 1,300 digital gift cards, according to the WeGift website.

“Innovations in payouts have been few and far between, leading to solutions that no longer match the speed with which business operates,” WeGift Chief Executive Aron Alexander said in a release. “Our digital currency network gives corporate and platform users powerful tools to incentivize, reward, drive conversion, disburse funds and more.”

The capital will be used to expand the firm’s digital currency network and grow into new markets, including in North America, according to the release.

Volution Capital also participated in the funding round, according to Crunchbase.

Fintecture closes $26.9M in series A

B2B payment platform Fintecture raised $26.9 million in a series A funding round last week.

The Ile-de-France, France-based platform helps companies digitize their payments processes to improve operations, according to a Fintecture release.

“B2B payments were left aside because of their high complexity, resulting in the predominance of paper-based and time-consuming solutions,” Fintecture Chief Executive Faysal Oudmine said in the release. “To help merchants fully digitize their B2B payments, we had to start from scratch and built new methods from first principles.”

Participants of the funding round included Target Global, Societe Generale, Samaipata, RTP Global, HEC Ventures and Allianz Trade, according to Crunchbase.

Banked raises $15M in series A

Account-to-account payments fintech Banked raised $15 million in a series A funding round led by Insight Partners.

The platform allows customers to complete transactions directly from their bank rather than submitting card details or payment information, adding an element of privacy and security to payments, according to the Banked website.

“There is a queue forming to be part of the new payment network and to help shape its future with a seat at the table,” Brad Goodall, chief executive at London-based Banked, said in a release.

The round, which follows its February funding round led by Bank of America, brings Banked’s total funding to $40 million, according to Crunchbase.

Form3 secures $23.8M venture debt facility

Cloud-native payments processing platform Form3 secured a $23.8 million debt facility from fintech investor Atempo Growth earlier this month.

The capital will be used for acquisitions, according to a Form3 release.

“The current environment is presenting us with new opportunities, both in terms of new markets and potential acquisitions,” Form3 Chief Executive Michael Mueller said in the release. “The Atempo facility will enable us to accelerate our growth and continue to offer market-leading cloud payments solutions to the world’s largest banks.”

The round brings Form3’s total funding to $240.2 million, according to Crunchbase.
