U.S. Bank announced today it has partnered with Built, an AI-native platform for real estate and construction finance, to streamline how consumer mortgage borrowers and commercial real estate clients manage new construction lending.
The integration allows borrowers, builders and the bank to operate within a single platform, improving transparency and accelerating project funding, according to today’s release. U.S. Bank said the system can improve draw times by up to 70% while providing real-time visibility into budgets, inspections and project progress.
Once a construction loan is issued, borrowers can use Built’s cloud-based platform to manage inspections, draw requests and updates in one place, according to the release. Commercial clients can also request funding and track progress through automated notifications.
The partnership delivers faster access to funds and greater transparency, helping projects stay on track, Suzanne Rathbun, a lending services group manager at U.S. Bank, said.
Built’s platform supports the full lifecycle of construction loans, from budgeting to disbursement, while reducing manual work and enabling lenders to scale operations more efficiently, according to the release.
