Brokerage TD Ameritrade is the latest to launch a financial services chatbot on the Facebook Messenger platform.

The bot, which was announced today, follows in the lines of other financial chatbots on Messenger (including those from companies like American Express, Mastercard, and Bank of America), abliet with a twist towards investing and the consumer’s portfolio.

Customers can use the bot to access information regarding their accounts and to check stock prices and trades, as well as for general financial advice.

Facebook’s network currently has about 2 billion active users per month, an added draw for the financial services firms swarming to add chatbots to its Messenger platform.

According to TD Ameritrade, approximately 200,000 of its clients are Facebook users.
