Grasshopper Bank Director of Engineering and Platforms Andrew Braun will speak at the inaugural FinAi Banking Summit. 

The summit, held March 2-3 at the Westin Denver Downtown, will bring together executives, technologists and decision-makers across the FinAi ecosystem.

Braun will speak on the panel “Tech talk: Cloud, compute and data pipelines for AI success” on Tuesday, March 3, at 9:40 a.m. local time. He will be joined by Brad Beumer, AI and innovation lead at First Merchants Bank, and Madeline Fredin, vice president of partnership strategy at Alloy Labs. 

During the session, panelists will discuss: 

• Identifying infrastructure challenges; 

• Securing the necessary processing power for AI application; and 

• Deploying AI safely and at scale. 

At Grasshopper, Braun is responsible for development of banking solutions for startups and businesses. The digital bank has launched these AI efforts in the past year: 

• Trained 75% of its employees on AI; 

• Launched an AI-driven customized financial management solution for business clients; and 

• A streamlined credit memo-writing process. 

In December, the digital bank was acquired by fintech Enova International for $369 million.
