back to reality.
After taxes, back to reality.

Whether you’ve finished your taxes, or are simply not speaking of such things in this late fiscal hour, a single glance at app downloads reveals that mobile users have by and large moved on.

Perhasp this speaks to the responsibility of mobile banking users. Regardless, only Google Play users retain any trace of tax work. IRS2Go has dropped from to a modest 7th place, and TurboTax to 10th.

Meanwhile, payments fintech has resumed its habitual dominion amidst iOS users. Regarding one perennial chart-topper, Bank Innovation recently attended JPMorgan Chase Bank’s website relaunch demo, an event of some intrigue regarding its conceptual basis — the title holder of iOS financial apps — Chase Mobile.

In the preceding weeks, tax season and the notion of having a financial six were mentioned. It seems both iOS and Google Play users are so infatuated with their economic shadow that they’ve yet to cease gazing at it, putting it in second place and first place, respectively.

Perhaps, with Credit Karma in both platforms’ Top 10, app users are feeling the chagrin of a bad tax year? There are worse things than post hoc personal finance lessons.

The rankings, retrieved from App Annie at around 9:00 a.m. Monday, appear below.
