Chief Information, Data and Digital Officer Sathish Muthukrishnan is leaving Ally after six and a half years.
“Sathish transitioned into a strategic adviser role in March and Spencer Cremers has been leading the function in the interim,” an Ally spokesperson told FinAi News. Cremers is the bank’s chief information security officer.

Muthukrishnan’s role is being filled by Mark Mathewson starting today, according to a July 13 Ally release.
Mathewson joins the $197 billion digital bank from Capital One, where he most recently was divisional chief information officer for its retail banking and commercial banking units.
“We were drawn to Mark’s deep roots in financial services and an extraordinary ability to develop talent that will create the future of AI-driven technological transformation,” Chief Executive Michael Rhodes said in the release.
Muthukrishnan has not shared his plans.
Ally reports second quarter earnings July 21.
