Prosper CEO David Kimball to Speak at BI Ignite

David Kimball, CEO of Prosper, is speaking at Bank Innovation Ignite 2019.

Kimball will be speaking on the alternative lending panel titled “New Scoring Models, New Data Sources,” where he will be addressing topics on the state of alternative data post-GDPR, credit scoring beyond FICO as well as will speak about how alternative lenders can survive in a rising interest rate environment.

On the panel, Kimball will be joined by Phillip Goldfeder, senior VP of public affairs at Cross River Bank and Ohad Samet, CEO of TrueAccord.

The event will take place March 11-12 at Seattle’s Hyatt Olive 8 Hotel. You can view the event’s agenda here.

Based in San Francisco and founded in 2005, Prosper is an online P2P lending marketplace that has facilitated more than $14 billion in loans to more than 870,000 people.

Kimball will be joined by speakers from BBVA Compass, Fifth Third, Citizens Bank, Wells Fargo, HSBC, Umpqua Bank and more at BI Ignite. The event will also feature startup demos, as well as sessions on data-sharing in the era of open banking, natural-language banking, wealth management in the AI age, and much more.
