Celtic Bank has selected fintech Casca to power its Small Business Administration lending program, aiming to accelerate loan origination and expand access to capital.
The $4.79 billion bank will use Casca’s AI-native loan origination platform to streamline lending operations, improve conversion rates and enhance the digital borrower experience, according to Casca’s release today.
The partnership is designed to reduce the manual work typically associated with SBA lending while enabling the bank to scale its small-dollar loan portfolio.

Casca’s system automates processes such as financial analysis and document handling, compressing origination timelines from months to days, according to the release.
A key factor in the selection was speed of implementation. While traditional loan origination systems can take a year or longer to deploy, Casca onboarded Celtic Bank onto its platform within weeks using cloud-based architecture, the companies said.
The platform also simplifies complex SBA forms into a guided digital workflow, reducing errors and eliminating back-and-forth communication that can delay approvals.
The partnership reflects a push to modernize small-business lending through automation and AI, enabling banks to reach more borrowers and deliver capital more efficiently, Casca Chief Executive Lukas Haffer said in the release.
