Transactions: Security State Bank selects FI-Mobile

Two Pennsylvania credit unions switched mobile banking platforms

The $727 million Security State Bank in Winters, Texas, recently chose FI-Mobile banking platform, according to an FI Navigator report provided to Bank Automation News. The following credit unions also switched mobile banking providers:

  • $114 million New Castle Bellco Federal Credit Union in New Castle, Pa., selected CU Mobile apps;
  • $114 million CBW Schools Federal Credit Union in Sidman, Pa., chose iParse mobile banking; and
  • $230 million Platinum Federal Credit Union in Duluth, Georgia selected Sharetec Systems mobile banking platform.

PNC buys payments solution firm Linga

PNC Financial Services Group has finalized its acquisition of point-of-sale and payments solution firm Linga.

The cloud-based operating system allows PNC to expand its digital resources and capabilities in the hospitality and restaurant industries in order to help clients “keep up with ever-changing consumer expectations, Emma Loftus, executive vice president and head of PNC Treasury Management, said in a statement.

“The acquisition reflects our continued commitment to expanding our corporate payments capabilities, as well as investing in the solutions and tools our clients need to run their businesses more effectively,” Loftus added.

Quaint Oak Bank taps Teslar for commercial lending

Southampton, Pa.-based Quaint Oak Bank announced today that it has selected Teslar Software to enhance its commercial lending offerings.

The $750 million bank will leverage Teslar’s automated workflows and digital customer portal to increase transparency across its departments, allowing improved access into consumer portfolios, William Gonzalez, executive vice president at the bank, said in a statement.

“With Teslar, the bank can grow more efficiently, optimizing employees’ time and allowing them to focus more on the customer relationship,” Teslar Chief Executive Joe Ehrhardt said in a statement. “Plus, the bank will be able to provide the convenient, digitally optimized experience customers and prospects want through our digital customer portal.”
