Scott Case, former Truist Financial chief information officer, started in his new role as executive vice president and head of technology and operations at Prudential Financial this week. He replaces Stacey Goodman who announced her retirement in October.

Steve Hagerman filled Truist’s CIO role in October.

“Prudential has been on a journey to modernize the technology needed to deliver great outcomes,” Case said in a LinkedIn post about his appointment.

The $1.5 trillion Prudential Financial reported in its third-quarter earnings that it has partnered with several tech providers — including AI-driven platform Evolution IQ — to improve its customer experience efforts, Caroline Feeney, head of U.S. businesses, said during Prudential Financial’s Oct. 31 earnings call.

“Scott is an experienced technology and operations leader who brings a depth of expertise and a strong track record of success in building integrated, digitally enabled functions and solutions in a complex operating environment,” Chairman and Chief Executive Charles Lowrey said in a statement.

Case reports to Prudential Vice Chair Robert Falzon, according to a release.

Today, Prudential also announced the appointment of Jacques Chappuis as president and CEO of PGIM, the FI’s global asset management business, effective May 1, 2025. He will report to Andrew Sullivan, head of international businesses and global investment management for Prudential Financial.
