First Tech Federal Credit Union recently selected Zebra Technologies’ Reflexis for Banking to optimize branch performance for employees and improve the customer experience.
The $15.8 billion, San Jose, Calif.-based credit union will use Reflexis to digitize audit processes to enhance insights and visibility into staff workload, task management and communications across all branches, according to a news release.
The solution, which uses artificial intelligence and machine learning, helps banks tackle back-office and other tasks, such as branch-opening checklists, recurring audits and drawer audits, saving credit union employees “numerous hours in work and follow-up at the branch, field management and headquarter levels,” Brian Wallace, general manager of banking at Zebra Technologies, told Bank Automation News.
The quickly deployed solution is designed to be updated and reconfigured through collaboration with Zebra clients “to ensure that the solution is optimally utilized to deliver maximum value,” Wallace said.
“Given the flexibility of configuring the Reflexis for Banking solution to each bank’s unique operations, we can rapidly deploy and typically generate a solid ROI [return on investment] within the first year of use,” he added.
More specifically, companies could see up to $59 million ROI over three years with Reflexis as a result of increasing staffing efficiencies, decommissioning legacy solutions and reducing meal break violations, according to a Forrester Consulting report.
The Lincolnshire, Ill.-based Zebra Technologies acquired Reflexis Systems for $575 million in 2020, according to Crunchbase.
First Tech represents the latest bank to join Zebra’s roster. Earlier this year, the $2.5 billion North Shore Bank signed up to use Reflexis to digitalize and streamline its branch tasks.
