Using Mahalo “reinforces our commitment to security, giving our members peace of mind through stronger protections and greater transparency in how their information is managed,” Traci Donahue, chief executive at Cross Valley, said in the release.

Mahalo will be integrated into the credit union’s core, according to the release.

Wilkes-Barre, Pa.-based Cross Valley is the latest credit union to select Mahalo for digital banking services, following $528 million Firelands Federal Credit Union and $381 million North Coast Credit Union, according to BAN’s Transactions Database.

OneUnited Bank picks Candescent

OneUnited Bank selected tech provider Candescent for its digital banking platform.

“Today’s digital banking platforms need to be flexible, open and extensible in order to enable a differentiated experience,” Gareth Gaston, chief product officer of Candescent, said in a July 17 release.

With Candescent, OneUnited aims to boost financial wellness and create personalized banking offerings, according to the release. For example, the bank used Candescent’s open API platform to develop and deploy a money management solution.

“Candescent’s sophisticated platform gives us the ability to easily create valuable experiences for our customers while allowing us to compete with modern, sophisticated third parties,” OneUnited Chief Information Officer Jim Slocum said.

Commonwealth Credit Union taps Lumin Digital

Commonwealth Credit Union selected Lumin Digital to provide digital banking services as its members expect more personalized experiences.

The Frankfort, Ky.-based credit union with more than 130,000 members wanted a platform that provided customization for members, Kelley Michalik, chief commercial officer at Lumin, told Bank Automation News.

“The platform will provide Commonwealth’s members with an always-on personalized digital banking experience and regular feature updates without service disruptions,” she said.

Commonwealth joins $1.1 billion Kirtland Federal Credit Union and $384 million Fort Community Credit Union which also selected Lumin Digital for digital banking services this year, according to BAN’s Transactions Database.
