Academy Bank clients are asking for digital financial management offerings, and the Kansas City, Mo.-based bank is meeting the need with today’s launch of My Finance360.
The new financial management tool provides real-time insights, smart budgeting and automated savings, Jodi Vickery, chief digital officer at Academy Bank, told Bank Automation News.
In a recent online survey of consumers, the $2.7 billion bank found that fewer than half of respondents who used a budgeting tool relied on their bank’s app and many turn to third-party solutions, she said. The bank conducted an online survey of 206 non-Academy Bank customers in 2025.
“These findings reinforce that, while consumers recognize the importance of budgeting, many still lack the right tools to manage their finances effectively,” Vickery said, adding this led to the bank’s decision to improve its user experience with My Finance360.
The solution was built through a combination of in-house innovation and third-party efforts, she said, without disclosing the vendor.
“By improving the user experience, integrating automated budgeting features and addressing key pain points, such as overspending and bill tracking, financial institutions can increase engagements and customer loyalty,” Vickery said.
