Alpharetta, GA — (June 19, 2012) — Financial Management Solutions, Inc. (FMSI), provider of business intelligence solutions for banks and credit unions,  announced today that Warren Federal Credit Union has adopted FMSI’s Teller Management System™ (TMS).  The $399 million Wyoming credit union will replace their in-house staffing model with FMSI’s multifunctional solution that maximizes service and optimizes their workforce — all while interfacing seamlessly with their ADP payroll system.

“We pride ourselves on great service and knew the right amount of tellers scheduled during the right times would lead to better service,” explains Bob Herrington, Chief Operations Officer at Warren Federal Credit Union.  “We also recognized that our managers were limited by our internal workforce management system, which was designed solely to prevent overstaffing.  Our system lacked a sophisticated scheduling engine, which could take both hourly service impacts and overstaffing into account.”

The Teller Management System™ schedules tellers based on forecasted transaction volumes, thus helping banks and credit unions gain better control of labor costs while increasing service levels.

Warren Federal CU’s search for a more powerful workforce optimization system led them to FMSI.  They were particularly attracted to TMS’s ability to produce both member service oriented schedules and objective monthly productivity performance reports.

“TMS is a solution we will use to manage our day-to-day front-line staff with hard facts,” adds Herrington.  “We are confident that the detailed ongoing FMSI reports and scheduling engine will help us improve our service and maximize our earnings.”

“Maintaining teller staffing at the ideal level to ensure member satisfaction can sometimes be a very credit union-specific decision,” says W. Michael Scott, President/CEO of FMSI.  “Without accurate information, most financial institutions are not equipped to make a proper evaluation.  With more than 20 years of experience helping banks and credit unions improve the productivity of their staff, our unique solutions for measuring and forecasting transaction volumes regularly reveal areas for better service and increased productivity.”
