Have you wondered what the foreclosure crisis “looks” like? Well, you can through the magic of Google Maps.

According to The Big Picture blog (and I’ve verified this), you can see properties in foreclosure marked on Google Maps. Here’s how:

At Google Maps, your options are Earth, Satellite, Map, Traffic and . . . More. Select “More.”

The drop down menu gives you a check box option for “Real Estate.”

The left column will give you several options (you may have to select “Show Options”). Check the box marked “Foreclosure.”

Viola, foreclosure listings across America. Warning: there are a lot of properties in foreclosure across the US.
