In a live webcast going on right now, Harris Simmons, the chief executive of Zions Bancorporation, came to the close of his presentation and said, “I’ve just about blown it.”
He waited a few beats, and then quickly added, “and when I say ‘I have just about blown it,’ I mean in terms of time.”
Zions lost $498 million last year.
