American Express Top Financial Services Brand, Again

As it did last year, American Express was the top brand in financial services in 2010.

According to our analysis of the annual ranking of the top 1000 global brands by Corebrand, American Express topped all comers among financial services brands. Interestingly (or disturbingly, depending on your perspective), Corebrand continues to rank brands that are no longer in active use, so Lehman Brothers, Bear Stearns and Countrywide Financial remain on the brand consultancy’s list. We see this as negative of the tally. Well, no one is perfect, right?
