Ken Meyer, Truist divisional chief information officer and experience officer for consumer technology, experience and innovation, has joined the speaker faculty of Bank Automation Summit Fall for the panel “Business Intelligence, CRM and Automation: How to Improve Customer and Employee Experience and Overall Efficiencies” on Tuesday, Sept. 20, at 9 a.m. PDT.

Ken Meyer, divisional chief information officer at Truist

Bank Automation Summit Fall 2022 will be held Sept. 19-20 at the Hyatt Olive 8 in Seattle. With automation evolving so rapidly, this event returns for the second time this year to bring compelling technology content and fuel strategic plans for 2023 with a unique format focused on networking and collaboration.

The panel will discuss:

  • Properly managing and structuring business intelligence and customer relationship management (CRM);
  • CRM for scale; and
  • Applications, tools and add-ons that can boost a base CRM platform.

At Charlotte, N.C.-based Truist, Meyer oversees all client-facing channels, including ATM, branch, contact center and digital. He led the $531 billion bank’s hybrid cloud migration strategy — which combined both public and private cloud — during the 2019 merger of BB&T and SunTrust that formed Truist.

“Innovation, client-centricity and purpose drove Truist’s best-of-breed approach to IT forward,” Meyer said. “At times, we chose the best system of the two heritage financial institutions, and at other times, we created something entirely new. Each and every one of these decisions were fueled by a commitment to drive innovation and enhance client experience. Join me at the Bank Automation Summit Fall 2022 to learn more about Truist’s novel approach to digital modernization for banking and the technology integration.”

Meyer previously served as chief technology officer at SunTrust as it underwent the acquisition by BB&T. He also spent nearly a decade at business consultancy Accenture, most recently as senior manager.

Bank Automation Summit Fall 2022, taking place Sept. 19-20 in Seattle, is a crucial event on automation and automation technology in banking. Learn more and register for Bank Automation Summit Fall 2022.
