SnapCheck CEO Ken Kruszka to Speak at Bank Innovation 2018
EXCLUSIVE – Founder and CEO of fintech startup SnapCheck Ken Kruszka has joined the speaker faculty for Bank Innovation 2018.
Bank Innovation 2018 will take place March 5-6 in San Francisco.
Based in San Francisco, Calif., SnapCheck is a B2B platform that vendors and suppliers can use to send faster payments electronically while reducing their fraud risk by 90% — all the advantages and familiarity of checks, which still account for the4 bulk of B2B payments, plus more safety and convenience.
SnapCheck was established in 2015 to provide a viable alternative to the paper check, since other digital means have not so far made a dent. Since then, it won Bank of the West’s North America Hackathon in 2015, and BNP Paribas’ International Hackathon in November of 2015. SnapCheck was also a member of INV Fintech, this site’s sister accelerator.
Kruszka – with 15-plus years in fintech – is an established payments pioneer, having created the first mobile remittance service in the U.S. and what is called the first global mobile bank account.
With SnapCheck, Kruszka is dedicated to helping businesses cross the digital divide and join the world of electronic payments. He is also a member of the Fed Improvement Project: The Business Payments Coalition.
At Bank Innovation 2018, Kruszka is speaking on the panel, Founders Debate on the Strategy for Future Banking. He will be joined by Nick Farrow, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Finspace; Lindsay Holden, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Long Game; and Peggy Mangot, Senior Vice President, Innovation at Wells Fargo.
The event will also feature speakers from Fiserv, Green Dot, Chain, Visa, Royal Bank of Canada, U.S. Bank, and more.
