Collaboration ain’t what it used to be at Intuit.

Intuit Collaboratory, an effort by the financial services and technology provider to work with other ventures, appears to have gone fallow.  The site at www.intuitcollaboratory.com hasn’t been updated in months, and doesn’t look like it will be updated anytime soon. A ping to its “Submit Your Ideas” invitation yielded this message:

At this time we don’t have any current challenges. When we have current challenges this is where you would submit your ideas. Please check back with us soon.

This is in sharp contrast to Capital One Labs, Cap One’s partnership and innovation channel which boasts four — count ’em, four — APIs to tie into Cap One products and data. Capital One Labs is accepting partnership requests and lists 14 job openings, including Data Scientist. For which we will decidedly not be applying.
