Jack Henry signed 51 new core deals during its fiscal 2025 ended June 30.

“Additionally, we signed 37 contracts to move existing in-house core clients to our private cloud, including 11 in Q4,” Chief Executive Greg Adelson said Aug. 20 during the tech provider’s fourth-quarter earnings call.

Following those moves, 77% of its core clients are on the tech provider’s private cloud environment, he said.

Client wins during the fiscal year include:

  • $8 billion First Mid Bank and Trust;
  • $2.4 billion Abound Credit Union;
  • $825 million Azura Credit Union;
  • $550 million SouthTrust Bank; and
  • $70 million Triangle Credit Union.

Bigger picture

Core modernization and moves to the cloud support Jack Henry’s latest survey findings from its 2025 Strategy Benchmark report, an online survey conducted between January and February 2025 surveying 149 bank and credit union CEOs on their plans.

The report found:

  • 43% of banks foresee including a public, cloud-native core in their strategic plans over the next two years; and
  • 30% of credit unions intend to include a public, cloud-native core in their plans.

“These platforms are faster, more scalable, and cost-efficient than traditional cores,” Jonathan Baltzell, president of bank solutions at Jack Henry, previously told Bank Automation News.

By the numbers

During Jack Henry’s fiscal Q4, the tech provider reported:

  • Revenue of $615 million, up 9.9% YoY;
  • Expenses of $459 million, up 5.9% YoY;
  • Net income increased 26% YoY to $127.6 million.
