The deadline has been extended for submissions to its annual Global Innovation Awards, BAI announced today.

As its name implies, the awards are handed out to innovators around the world for their work in financial services. The awards began in 2011 and recognize innovation in a number of areas: product and service innovation, channel innovation, innovation in payments & wallets, innovation in marketing, and more. A list of 2017’s awards and winners is here. Last year’s recipients include both banks and nonbank fintech players, a sign of how the ecosystem is evolving.

This year’s judges include Alex Sion, GM, Mobile Channel, JPMorgan Chase; Adrian Li, Executive Director & Deputy Chief Executive, The Bank of East Asia; Ricardo Campos, Senior Director for Digital Banking, Bank Millennium S.A.; as well as Debbie Bianucci, President & CEO of BAI. The awards will be presented at BAI Beacon, which takes place Oct. 9-11 in Orlando, Fla.
