As Bank of America deepens its AI investments, its CashPro business banking platform is increasingly positioned as being not just for payments, but as an intelligent, secure hub for managing corporate financial operations.
CashPro, the bank’s business and commercial banking platform, is available online and as a mobile application. This year, the $2.5 trillion bank aims to focus its CashPro investments on:
- Data and AI;
- Cybersecurity;
- Information-sharing; and
- Digital services.
The mobile app authenticated more than $1.2 trillion in payments in 2025 — $38,000 every second — compared to $1 trillion across the entire platform in 2024, Jennifer Sanctis, CashPro product executive at Bank of America, told FinAi News.

CashPro’s strategy integrates intelligence directly into client workflows, she said.
“Mobile has become a convergence point because of its flexibility and security, reliability and ease of user experience,” she said, adding that data and AI are already embedded into the platform.
CashPro uses AI to enhance cash forecasting, analysis and decision-making in volatile market environments, Sanctis said.
“Cash flow forecasting continues to be a really critical tool for our clients, especially in these times of economic volatility,” Sanctis said.
CashPro is investing in improved information sharing across the platform, enabling clients to access critical data and act on it in real time, Sanctis said.
This year, the Charlotte, N.C.-based bank is rolling out more features for digital identity verification to bolster security, she said.
“We need to make sure that that individual is who they say they are … within their organization,” Sanctis said. “The app can help do that in a simple and streamlined experience.”
CashPro is also exploring additional AI-driven capabilities, including agent-based experiences, to further automate and streamline treasury workflows on its platform. Sanctis declined to detail additional agentic AI plans.
Bank of America reports first-quarter earnings on April 15.
