As the private bank leads in digital usership, a recent Bank of America client survey showed that its most satisfied customers engage with a combined digital and personal approach, he said.
In the third quarter, the Charlotte, N.C.-based bank saw active digital usership grow 7% year over year to 46 million, according to the bank’s Q3 earnings presentation. Additionally, the bank’s noninterest expenses, including personnel and technology, increased 3% YoY to $15.8 billion.
“Digital adoption, engagement and volumes continue to increase,” Bank of America Chief Executive Brian Moynihan said during the bank’s Q3 earnings presentation on Oct. 17. “We lead the industry in digital banking.”
