Cloud-based loan software provider Built Technologies announced it has acquired deal management platform Nativ to provide lenders with a risk management solution that shifts away from analog processes. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“The Nativ product, which is classified as a deal management product in commercial real estate, assists with underwriting the future cash flows of an asset and the expenses, like the kind of the revenue and expenses related to a commercial real estate loan,” Built Chief Executive Chase Gilbert told Bank Automation News.

Nashville, Tenn.-based Built’s customer base was on the hunt for a product with Nativ’s capabilities for a “significant amount of time,” with the company eventually deciding to either acquire or produce its own product for asset management, Gilbert said.
“We decided [a platform of this kind] was a build-or-buy decision, and in that process, we found out we thought we could win faster by joining forces with the Nativ team, and it became an acquisition opportunity,” he added.
The acquisition brings more than $35 billion in commercial real estate assets that are actively managed on the Nativ platform, a Built spokesperson told BAN.
