IncredibleBank is building on its existing Jack Henry partnership by selecting the core provider’s custom automated solution to enhance the bank’s digital account opening and funding processes.

The $1.7 billion Wausau, Wisc.-based bank has previously leveraged a range of Jack Henry offerings, including real-time payments solution JHA PayCenter and the Banno Digital Platform.

Jack Henry’s JHA OpenAnywhere solution will help the bank facilitate fast and secure digital account opening and funding through a custom application, Philip Suckow, the bank’s director of digital and innovation, told Bank Automation News.

“We went to market for a platform that would give us the ability to create our own custom application and customer journey,” Suckow said. “We found that the JHA OpenAnywhere product really allowed us to do that from a customer experience side.”

The solution automates onboarding with fast identity decisioning through its Alloy integration while Plaid automates the account-funding process. These integrations automate and remove friction from the account opening and funding process by providing greater efficiency and decisioning while increasing security, Julie Morlan, senior managing director of digital at Jack Henry, told BAN.

“When information is sent from the financial institution to Alloy for evaluation, the response from Alloy is handled through OpenAnywhere’s rules engine for automated decisioning,” Morlan said. “Financial institutions can choose to accept or override the automated recommendation, as well as adjust their rules at any time.”

OpenAnywhere has “drastically” decreased the time between digital application and account opening for IncredibleBank, and goes further by opening the door for additional innovation, Suckow said.

“We were doing it in about two and a half days but will now be able to do it in real time or the same business day,” he said. “We can now give our customers the answer: ‘Yes, you’ll be able to enroll in additional services and take advantage of the account you’re opening in real time.’”

Bank Automation Summit, taking place March 1-2 in Charlotte, is the first and only event to focus solely on automation in banking. The event will feature the brightest minds from across financial services on intelligent automation strategies and deployment. Learn more and register here for Bank Automation Summit 2022.
