Banking technology giant Finastra has hired Mark Miller as chief financial officer. He replaces Rob Binns, who recently stepped down from the role.
Miller previously served as chief financial officer at Marketo, a marketing automation software company that was acquired by Adobe in October 2018. He brings nearly 25 years of experience in tech, finance and operations, including various leadership roles at travel technology firm Sabre Corporation, Vista Equity Partners and software company Active Network.
Finastra is a leading global banking technology and software company spanning retail banking, transaction banking, lending, treasury and capital markets. It serves more than 8,500 clients across 130 countries, including 90 of the top 100 banks globally. In 2018, it launched a cloud platform to help fintech companies easily connect with banks as they develop technology solutions and apps.
Simon Paris, CEO of Finastra, said in a statement that Miller will help shape the company’s vision for the future of banking. “As one of the world’s largest financial services software and platform businesses, [Finastra] is one of the leading forces in the transformation of the banking industry towards a more open future,” Miller added in a statement.
