BNY and Google Cloud today announced the integration of Gemini Enterprise — Google Cloud’s agentic AI platform — into BNY’s enterprise AI system, Eliza.
The move enhances Eliza’s agentic deep-research tools for market analysis and brings multimodal capabilities to BNY’s global workforce, the companies shared in a release today. Employees can now build AI agents to rapidly process and analyze financial reports, data sets and historical market trends, helping automate routine, data-heavy tasks and surface insights more efficiently.
“At BNY, our AI strategy is clear: AI for everyone, everywhere and everything,” Sarthak Pattanaik, BNY’s chief data and AI officer, said in the release. He said the integration deepens Eliza’s research capabilities, strengthens secure data connections and improves the user experience, ultimately giving workers more capacity for strategic analysis.
Rohit Bhat, general manager and managing director of financial services at Google Cloud, said the collaboration reflects that “the future of banking lies in the seamless integration of human expertise and advanced computational agents.”
BNY has long used Google Cloud’s AI technology and continues to adopt its latest models, including Gemini 3 and Veo 3, to expand AI capabilities across the firm, according to the release.
