Citi hired Pankaj Goel to co-lead technology investment banking.
Goel joins Citi from JPMorgan Chase, where he was global chair of technology investment banking, Bloomberg reported July 29.
He also spent time in technology leadership roles at Barclays and Lehman Brothers, according to LinkedIn.
Candescent names Satheesh Ravala CTO
Digital banking solutions provider Candescent announced Satheesh Ravala as its chief technology officer on July 28.

Ravala will work with Chief Product Officer Gareth Gaston to deliver digital banking solutions, according to the release.
Ravala joins Candescent from Diligent, where he was CTO, according to the release.
“Satheesh’s proven ability to scale global technology teams and deliver innovative, enterprise-grade platforms will elevate our technology and deliver even greater value to the clients, Chief Executive Brendan Tansill said in the release.
Earlier this month, Candescent was selected by OneUnited Bank for its digital banking platform.
Gremer joins Fulton Bank as SVP, chief operations and technology officer

Fulton Bank named Kevin Gremer as its senior vice president and chief operations and technology officer, effective Aug. 25.
Gremer’s experience includes leadership roles at City National Bank and Capital One, according to the $32 billion bank’s July 23 release.
“For this role, we were looking for a strategic and innovative leader with a proven track-record of elevating operations and technology,” chairman and CEO Curt Myers, chairman and CEO at the Lancaster, Pa.-based bank, said in the release.
Finastra appoints Adam Banks to board of directors
Financial services software provider Finastra appointed Adam Banks to its board of directors, the tech provider announced July 9.
Previously, Banks was global group chief technology and information officer at shipping and logistics company A.P. Moller-Maersk and EVP of technology at solutions provider FINkit.
“Adam is a proven change agent whose expertise spans the technologies and industries that are shaping the future of financial services,” CEO Chris Walters said in the release.
In June, Finastra announced three additional appointments:
- Dan Baptiste, chief operating officer;
- Mike Stawchansky, CTO; and
- Shirley Powell, head of strategic communications.
Carson named 1st Finzly CFO, Coakley new head of partnerships
Payments infrastructure provider Finzly named Adam Carson as its first chief financial officer.
Carson brings enterprise software and finance expertise to Finzly, he told Bank Automation News, noting that this role marries his background and interest in both tech and finance.
Finzly also named Robert Coakley as head of partnerships, according to a July 17 release. Coakley has had leadership roles at CGI, Finastra and Fundtech.
“Adam and Robert bring the strategic vision and operational expertise we need as we scale,” Chief Executive Booshan Rengachari said in the release.
Jacksonville, Fla.-based EverBank uses Finzly to update its payment processing system.
