Citi Wealth tapped Eric Lordi as head of platform and experience this month and he assumes the new role on Jan. 29, a Citi spokesperson told Bank Automation News . [caption id="attachment_57377328" align="alignright" width="128"] Eric Lordi, Citi Wealth[/caption] He will be responsible for the digital experience for Citi Wealth clients, advisers and bankers, the spokesperson said. Lordi replaces Julia Carreon who left Citi Wealth in August, the spokesperson said. He joins Citi from JPMorgan , where he served as head of ConnectWealth Strategic Development. U.S. Bank names Carstensen to head Global Treasury Management [caption id="attachment_57377326" align="alignleft" width="155"] Kristy Carstensen, U.S. Bank[/caption] The $686 billion U.S. Bank selected Kristy Carstensen to lead its Global Treasury Management business on Nov. 25. She will be responsible for treasury management and payment solutions, according to a Nov. 25 release from the bank. Carstensen has spent 13 years at U.S. Bank in roles including chief financial officer of payment services. She joins the Global Treasury Management team “at a pivotal moment,” Carstensen said in the release. “The clients we serve are all in the midst of major transformation and are looking for payment technology and innovation to deliver efficient, simple, secure and seamless payment execution to and from customers, employees and vendors.” Webster Bank taps Hoffman to lead treasury management The $79 billion Webster Bank named Adam Hoffman as its executive managing director and head of treasury management on Nov. 18. Previously, Hoffman was executive vice president and head of treasury solutions at BankUnited and had held treasury management positions at JPMorgan Chase , Citi and Capital One among fintechs, the release stated. Work F usion selects Caruso as VP of fin ancial crime compliance [caption id="attachment_57377329" align="alignleft" width="154"] David Caruso, WorkFusion[/caption] AI-driven financial crime compliance solutions provider WorkFusion selected David Caruso as vice president of financial crime compliance, according to a Nov. 4 WorkFusion release. Caruso joins WorkFusion from AML advisory service provider Dominion Advisory Group , which he founded in June 2005. “After assisting more than a dozen banks in responding to regulatory actions over the last two decades, the most common issue identified is that AML teams cannot manage their workloads effectively,” Caruso told BAN . “A significant factor contributing to this inability to keep pace is the overwhelming number of low-value alerts that regulations require banks to review, ultimately distracting from detecting and reporting actual suspicious activity.” Using AI to help employees reduce “time spent on low-value tasks to concentrate on high-impact issues is crucial for modernizing financial crime compliance and achieving the positive impact that all workers hope for when entering this field,” he told BAN . Dark Matter names Dugan its new CEO Mortgage technology provider Dark Matter Technologies has selected Sean Dugan as its chief executive effective April 2025, according to a Nov. 5 Dark Matter release. Dark Matter’s approach to AI and machine learning emphasizes creating practical, tangible improvements for operational efficiency, Dugan said. “We have embedded predictive analytics and self-learning models across our platforms, enabling lenders to minimize manual workloads, increase accuracy, reduce turnaround times , and make data-driven decisions confidently,” he said. Dugan will replace Rich Gagliano , who will become executive chairman. SaaS provider Vroozi taps Norton as p resident [caption id="attachment_57377331" align="alignleft" width="139"] Dave Norton, Vroozi[/caption] SaaS provider Vroo zi tapped Dave Norton to serve as p resident , according to a Nov. 8 company release. “My immediate priority is to amplify Vroozi's proven success in optimizing spend management for enterprise and mid-market businesses,” Norton told BAN . “In the short term, we are investing into our go-to-market organization to scale the success stories of our current customers.” The company aims to add AI and machine learning capabilities to its spend management capabilities to provide features like “predictive analytics to forecast spend patterns, enhanced decision-making insights, and intake orchestration to streamline procurement,” Norton said.
