Demand for core provider Temenos’ services remains strong amid a focus on digital transformation among banks.
The $36.4 billion Bank of Queensland, based in Queensland, Australia, in Q3 selected Temenos’ cloud-based platform for its retail banking business, a spokesperson for Temenos told Bank Automation News.

The Geneva-based tech provider’s other Q3 bank contracts include:
- $67 billion SinoPac, based in Taipei, Taiwan, for digital banking;
- $255 million FCM Bank Malta, based in Malta, for core banking;
- $75 billion Shanghai Commercial & Savings Bank, based in Taipei, Taiwan, for retail and corporate banking;
- $805 million Australia Police Bank, based in Sydney, for cloud services; and
- North International Bank, based in Antigua and Barbuda, for a banking-as-a-service platform.
Fintechs that partnered with Temenos in Q3 include:
- Bengaluru, India-based tech provider Wipro for digital banking offerings for its clients in the U.S., U.K. and Australia;
- Chennai, India-based software company Bahwan Cybertek to scale Temenos’ operations in India, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Bhutan; and
- Breisgau, Germany-based software provider Patronas Financial Systems and investment accounting platform Temenos Multifonds are collaborating on a portfolio management solution.
