AUSTIN, Texas, September 28, 2011— Wincor Nixdorf Inc., one of the world’s leading providers of total IT solutions for the banking and retail industries, will showcase its newest suite of advanced banking technology solutions at the BAI Retail Delivery 2011 expo, focusing on ways banks can take greater control over rising cash management costs, deliver secure digital services that enhance consumer interaction and strengthen long-term relationships with their retail banking customers.

Wincor Nixdorf will be featured in BAI’s Self-Service Demo Center, October 11–13 in Chicago’s McCormick Place Convention Center.

A key feature of Wincor Nixdorf’s exhibit will be CINEO – Wincor Nixdorf’s product portfolio, which includes cash dispensers, cash recycling systems, automated teller safes, transaction terminals and POS systems. CINEO offers businesses new options for cash handling. The core element is an innovative banknote storage concept – the Intelligent Cassette. The Intelligent cassette enables cash to be exchanged directly between different cash points within a branch and store environment. In the Self-Service Area at BAI, Wincor Nixdorf will demonstrate Cash Cycle Management Solution (CCMS) that focus on the seamless transfer of cash between retail environments and bank branches, to help banks create an optimized, closed cash cycle within the branch, drive process efficiency, customer retention, reduce costs by more than 20 percent and minimize environmental impact.

Additionally, Wincor Nixdorf will demonstrate how 10 years after their introduction of the Check Cash and Deposit Module (CCDM), banks around the world continue to experience significant benefits from deploying automated check and cash deposit terminals.

As part of its presentation, Wincor Nixdorf will also discuss the implication and opportunities available for banks to truly deliver innovative, best-in-class service out of the oncoming introduction of EMV regulation, including the introduction of mobile payments and NFC transactions to the self service channel.
