The Atlanta Fed’s monthly business inflation expectations (BIE) survey reports that firms anticipate 1.9 percent inflation over the coming year. Sixty-five percent of respondents expect labor costs to put strong upward pressure on their prices over the next 12 months, a measure that’s trended slightly upward.
