Puddle

Puddle allows users to pool funds in order to start a line of credit with friends — the first “credit creation app,” it says. Members of the pool collaborate to set the interest rate at which members can borrow. There are no fees and no application process. The key to the whole enterprise is trusting your friends (which might present problems for some of us). The service is not entirely new, having premiered in 2012, but is stepping up its quest for funding lately. Jump in!
