With healthcare costs the number one reason for bankruptcy in the US, it stands to reason that an app to track spending in this area will find an audience. Simplee offers a PFM-like dashboard and allows the setting of budgets, tagging expenses and scheduling payments. It also helps doctors bill health insurance providers, which is no small thing, as any doctor will tell you. Future iterations will even check a patient’s bills for errors. We see Simplee as an example of the future of PFM: highly specific and customized to specific needs.
