Citibank’s official Twitter account follows more than 39,000 Twitter feeds. Including some porn feeds.

Only at @Citibank can you find @nudegirls111, @linda_nnz13 or @HornyNudeGirls. (The image at left is a screen grab of one of the porn feeds that indicates that @Citibank is a follower. The screen image was take on July 5.) None of the other major banks follow such racy Twitter feeds.

The porn feeds that @Citibank follows beg the question, how did @Citibank come to follow these accounts? Granted, many marketers use – or used in the past — “auto follow” services that has a Twitter feed automatically follow people that follow their feed, but that’s really not an excuse — assuming @Citibank doesn’t necessarily want to follow porn feeds, right? We can only surmise that no one is really monitoring the feed.

Now, don’t get us wrong, Citibank is entitled to be into whatever it wants, including @HotFemaleNudity. Who are we to judge one of the largest banks in the world?
