For the third consecutive year, Bank Innovation has teamed up with Open Bank Project and (this year) the University of Warwick, to conduct a research survey on how financial institutions worldwide are prioritizing API initiatives in 2017.

The query is digital and we invite industry participants to share their perspectives on APIs. Results of the query will be published on Bank Innovation, as well as analyzed by the Open Bank Project. Responses will remain anonymous.

The Open Bank Project, based in Berlin, is an open-source API and app store for banks, providing a digital ecosystem of third-party applications and services. Bank Innovation and the Open Bank Project collaborated on a similar query last year, receiving 170 contributions from more than 40 countries. The results from last year’s survey can be viewed here.
